Wells Fargo: We get bailed out-we go to Vegas

Wells Fargo, which just received a $25 billion bailout of our taxpaying money is planning a "junket" in Las Vegas later starting Friday, Feb. 6th.  The bank, booked 12 nights at (probably one of the most expensive hotels) the Wynn, as well as it's sister hotel the Encore.

Wells Fargo claims that these conferences are a tradition, and the prior ones that took place included perks like all-expense-paid helicopter rides, wine tasting, horse riding, and even a private Jimmy Buffett concert that took place in the Bahamas for more 1,000 employees and guests.

While other banks have cut back employee perks, like Bank of America whom canceled their employee recognition outings, Wells Fargo will not.

Wells Fargo spokeswoman Melissa Murray said " “Recognition events are still part of our culture, it’s really important that our team members are still valued and recognized."

Boy this sounds familiar, didn't AIG do something similar?  I seem to recall their corporation giving all their executives bonuses as well as spa treatments.  I find it asinine that these corporations can get bailout money from us taxpayers and still continue on their "traditions."  Congress, the House or the Senate need to get off their asses RIGHT NOW and do something about this.  We've been bailing out major corporations now going on 3 months, and we're seeing this same bullshit occur over and over.

If this shit keeps up, I think we're going to need to give our country a new slogan:

America: Fucking over the taxpayers, one bailout at a time!"

EDIT: Well it appears after facing major criticism from everybody, they decided to reverse their decision on this situation, therefore everything above is irrelevant.
