NBCs ratings are down in many cases - thank god for Law and Order and The Office - and when you put a crappy lead-in like Jay's show at 10PM, which is tanking all on its own, and of course ratings will be down for the Tonight Show. Let Conan have a shot at the Tonight Show with some good 10PM programming and watch the ratings rise. Plus, Conan was beating Letterman for a long time and he has never fallen behind anyone else (like Kimmel for example) to my knowledge. Give Conan the time he needs to strengthen his core audience - have some faith! We love COCO!!! I want to give Leno some credit, but I can't help thinking that none of this would be happening if he would just say, "No, I won't take the Tonight Show back." Yeah, wow.
